The classic Marchesi 1824 dough, the result of a slow and skilful process using only natural sourdough starter, is enriched with fine ingredients such as 74% Venezuela dark chocolate and a harmonious blend of red fruits: candied amarena cherries and candied strawberries.Compared with more common leavening agents, production with sourdough requires more time and care to allow the microorganisms to develop, giving the product multiple beneficial properties and a unique flavour.Storage conditions: store in a cool, dry place.Best before: 60 days.
